Peter LeFevre was born on January 5, 1732/33 in Strasburg, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His parents were Abraham LeFevre and Elizabeth Ferree.

Peter, and his brother, John, inherited the 300 acre tract from their father, Abraham which was originally purchased by their grandfather, Isaac. They divided the tract equally between them. Peter had the northern half.

His married Catherine LeFevre. Catherine was born February 18, 1740.

Peter and Catherine's children included:

Maria LeFevre (May 12, 1763),
Joseph LeFevre (Septeber 16, 1765, married Susanna Bowman),
Catherine LeFevre (September 23, 1769),
Peter LeFevre (May 6, 1744),
Elizabeth LeFevre (June 6, 1777)

In 1779, Peter was in Strasburg, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Peter died on January 12, 1799 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Catherine died on July 27, 1802. They were laid to rest in LeFevre Cemetery.
